I have been an actor, director, producer, screenwriter, TV writer, blogger, Substacker (is that a word?) and writing mentor. For the past three years I have been a successfully produced playwright, with productions in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, New York, Canada and Europe.

But more than that, I have been someone that people come to, asking, "Can you read my script?", "Can you hear my pitch?", "How should I tell this story?" and most significantly, "What story should I tell?"

That's why I decided to create What's Your Story, as I found myself working with people on an informal basis.

I take great joy and inspiration from helping others find their inspiration and tell their story.

Gregg is a superb writing coach. Without his aid and encouragement, I never would’ve gotten my first book, Bob Goes To Jail, off the ground. He gave me the confidence as a first time author to play, but also to rewrite and to treat it as a job. It’s a rough world out there for writers, and to have someone like Gregg in your corner is invaluable.

Gregg is  passionate about the creative process of writing. It was a major relief to enlist his services when I had a deadline with a pitch deck for my latest project! He is an invaluable resource to help you execute virtually any project in the field of theatre, film and television.

Gregg Ostrin is not only a great writer, he's also a great teacher. His years of experience as a writer of film, TV and theatre make him an invaluable resource for script analysis and development. He knows how to help a writer fix the technical issues of a script, while still maintaining the writer's original vision and voice.

Many times I’ve sought help from Gregg for my writing, and every single time he’s given me clear, thoughtful, actionable feedback. And more often than not I get that "ah ha" moment that brings everything into perspective.”
